Pocotaligo Box

My wife turned me on to this sport and we decided to place a couple of boxes. This is the first and was place on 8-18-02.

My wife and I go by the monikers "Sissy and CR."

The email address to get hold of us is  cr@sc.rr.com

The name of this first box is Pocotaligo Box.  We made it really simple.

It's pretty much a drive-up box, but you'll need a compass and gloves for critter protection.

  • Find Pocotaligo Swamp Trail and Nature Walk near Manning, SC.
  • Rest yourself on the nearest tables facing the parking lot.
  • The ring you're looking for is right in front of you.
  • Go to it and stand in the center.
  • Due East is where you want to look.
We had higher hopes with this one, but the walk is rickety, the water was low, and we couldn't find a better hiding place. We plan on going back with materials so we can hide it better sometime in the near future. Until then we hope you enjoy this little romp.

Regards,

CR
